Kalamaria is where I call home...
I'm currently on a assignment about learning Greek, and I'm not scheduled to get a full-time job or any other plans until the end of this year. I am living in Kalamaria district somewhere near the main road to the airport in a rather decent apartment.
Things have changed tremendously since my arrival. Although I have some job chances with decent position, but I didn’t think they were comfortable job for me. Other than that, It’s not so easy for me to find someone to hang out with. All those are because of the different languages and mentalities. I will have to learn as soon as I could. The weather is getting nice again. These two things combined are allowing me to see the city in a different light. It's really great! There are still plenty of things that I dislike, but I wish the improvements had come A LOT sooner than they have. I'm now afraid that my time here will be messing up like last year, I would like now that certain developments have surfaced. I'd like to be Thassos through the summer vacation, then we will see.
What's been going on lately?
Day trip to a industry area which is outside Thessaloniki center. Lo. The meeting with the Greek business guy was ok, but the offer? Gosh! Although it is considered to be average. However too much business trips! YES!--Doh! A tad more of the Greek language would be much better. I finally decide to go to Greek lessons, fortunately I met a nice teacher, thank god! So from now on, I became a student instead of being a Chinese tutor!! Keep moving on!
